What SAT score do you need for your college?
Search any U.S. college to see its average SAT score and the middle-50% range (25th to 75th percentile) of admitted students. Data comes straight from the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard, the official federal dataset.
How to read the numbers
A school's 25th–75th percentile range is where the middle half of admitted students scored. Scoring at or above the 75th percentile makes you a strong applicant for that school; scoring below the 25th means you'd need other parts of your application to stand out. Many schools are now test-optional and may not report a range.
